About Me

Ward's World: I am originally from Long Island, New York. My education includes 2 years at a local commuity college after which I traveled to Tel Aviv, Israel for a year abroad. I returned to NY to complete my undergraduate studies in Elementary Education and Psychology. My Masters is in Reading and Special Education, which is my current job title. I taught 2nd and 4th grade in New York and then moved to Pittsburgh, PA where I stopped working to raise my children. I now live in Raleigh, NC and have been working in Wake County Schools for the past 5 years full time after subbing for 6-7 years.
